Maatla Energy is developing a mid-tier coal mining and energy company in Botswana. The company is capitalizing on extensive exploration work to fast-track the development of an export mine and coal-to-liquids business. Maatla’s highly experienced and successful management team has a track record of financing projects and taking mines into production.

 

The Mmamabula Coal Project contains over 90Mt of high-grade thermal coal (mineable tons in situ) in the well-explored Mmamabula Coalfields 145 kilometers north of Gaborone in Botswana. Read more about the project here.
